On August 20-1 I will be fishing at Coopers Landing, hopefully landing my first red sockeye salmon. Saw some on inland streams in 2003 hundreds of miles
from the saltwater. Silvers are great, because the coho is extremely fast.
I had to give up the halibut idea because an ice fishing fall moved my spine forward. One of our locals told me about fighting one 20 years ago near
Homer. After an hour, his arms were dead when the halibut won by chewing through his 150 pound...

I am planning a trip to Alaska the second half of August. I am interested in people's experiences on halibut fishing. We saw many boats leave Homer my
one day there when I didn't have time to get out. Also, I am looking at salmon run in the Kenai River. Even if you don't live there but have trip
experience, I am interested.

If anyone is coming to Northeast Wisconsin or possibly the Michigan U.P., I'd be happy to exchange knowledge and experiences. I might be able to
fish with you.
On September 11-13 my partner and I will be salmon fishing at Sault Ste. Marie. If anyone knows a contact person there, it would be helpful. If you
want to see what this means, Google Lake Superior State University salmon and you should be able to pull up the site involving the Atlantic Salmon and...

A photo of more than 300 wild turkeys grazing in a hilly pasture was enough to entice me to join my fishing' and huntin' buddy Greg Foster on a trip to
Tennessee to visit Jerry Crawford.

Crawford is a retired banker who keeps about 200 acres of prime hunting land leased about 100 miles west of Nashville. In the center of it he owns some acreage
on which his "Hunting Lodge" sits high atop a hill.

Below is Yellow Creek, a prime smallmouth bass fishery....

Fishin' Buddy is a means of finding another Rotarian with whom you can spend the day fishing. Perhaps you are traveling on holiday or on
a business trip and would like to test the local waters. By posting your intentions here a local member of the Fishing Fellowship my make himself available to
take you fishing.

Trade-A-Trip is similar, but in this case two or more Rotarians agree to reciprocate with each other. As an example, a Rotarian in...
